2012 Automotive Mustang Show
The Tennessee Technology Center at Newbern had several Ford Mustangs on display for the automotive students to experience. The professional development activity was successful thanks to the generosity of Tim Castellaw Ford of Dyersburg and several others who provided various models for the car show. David Todd and Don Danner of T&D Inc.LLC of Martin, Tennessee, brought a Boss 302 and a special edition Carrol Shelby Super Snake with 875 horsepower. In addition, Mr. James Winchester, owner of B and L Salvage of Dyersburg, displayed his fully restored 1965 2+2 Mustang Fastback.
Students, as well as the displayers, had a great time asking and answering questions. Mr. Todd demonstrated the electronics of the Boss 302 just by installing a special ignition key that increased the engine power to 444 horsepower.
