Advisory committees play an important role in the school's operation by providing information and recommendations which may assist in the administrative staff making decisions favorable to the effective operation of the school.  Each program area also utilizes occupational advisory committees which aid the instructional staff in assessing the needs of the students and local community industry.  These advisory committees assist the instructional staff in keeping abreast of the latest equipment, methods, and technologies in their respective occupational areas.
