Industrial Maintenance
Industrial Maintenance offers training
in the areas of Basic Electricity, Industrial Wiring,
Motor Controls, Lock-Out/Tag-Out Procedures and PLC
Training. The Industrial Maintenance Robotics Training
is designed to train students with the basic skills
needed to compete in today’s technological industrial
automated environment.
Drafting & CAD Technology
Training workshops in blueprint reading
as well as CAD Software Introduction and Application are
available. Workshops can be tailored to meet specific
needs from beginner to advanced levels.
Automotive Technology
Our Automotive Technology Program offers
a variety of workshops designed to keep technicians up
to date on the art and science of automobiles.
Automotive workshops can be arranged for the beginner or
the professional.
Business Systems Technology - Computer
Training
Special classes in computer training are
offered to business and industry upon request. Classes
can be conducted at the Technology Center or at the
requesting business or industry. Microsoft computer
applications are available for Word, Excel, Access,
PowerPoint and Windows. Other training areas desired can
be specialized to accomplish specific training needs.
HVAC Technology
Training can be designed to fit the
specific needs of business or industry. Training
includes, but is not limited to: domestic and commercial
refrigeration, central air conditioning, pipefitting and
installation, troubleshooting and automotive air
conditioning.
Electronics Technology
Electronics Technology can offer
training workshops in areas of schematic reading, basic
Ohm's Law with symbol recognition, and multimeter usage.
In addition to electronics, basic computer skills such
as routine maintenance, reformatting and reinstalling
operating systems, and basic hardware troubleshooting
and repair can be designed to fit individual needs.
Machine Tool Technology
Training is offered in the set-up and
operation of lathes, milling machines, grinders, drill
presses and other machines used in the machining
industry. In addition to traditional hand operated
machines, training is available in the set-up and
programming of CNC and precision measurements.
